A resurrected blog about Jimmy Chamberlin
That is amazing. Is this on display somewhere or in a private collection?
I believe it is on display in the HardRock Cafe in Cleveland, Ohio. It was, in 2008 - when this photo was taken at least.
Awesome! Although, it looks like they drilled into it (damaging it) to mount it on the wall with those L-brackets. You'd think an entity like The Hard Rock Cafe would be more professional than that. Also, they displayed it with those cheesy ZXT/ZBT cymbals. Oh well, doesn't really matter. Shame this kit will never be played again, but definitely makes an amazing display piece.
Not really sure why they insisted on removing the bottom hoops/rims on everything either....again, they could've done a much better job hanging this.
I know - HATE the cymbals and damage - but aesthetically pleasing to mine eye -nonetheless.
