READ MOAR (if you want)...Over the years, Jimmy and I have stayed in contact. When I came upon this idea to do this record in China with students I immediately thought it would be the perfect chance to work with Jimmy because I have always loved his crazy awesome drumming.

I wonder what's going to happen with this? It sound like they're definitely making the album in this interview. But the KickStarter page doesn't have much time left and they still have quite a chunk of change to make. Hopefully someone generous with deep pockets jumps in. It would be a shame for them to have raised such a large sum of money but not quite make the goal & be back to square one.
ReplyDelete$11,042 pledged of $17,000 goal, 6 days to go.
ReplyDeleteThat's going to be a challenge.
actually, on a 30 day campaign, the majority of pledging occurs in the first three and last three days. At above 65% at this time in that campaign is really, really good. Especially if what they are going for is only $17,000. And of course, if a handful of people would go and give just a little, I'm sure we could hear some more Jimmy drums!
ReplyDeleteI hope it gets made. Anything from JC now would be good...
ReplyDeleteJust need some nice people or person to top it off with $3500...
