THIS - Great Civilizations has disappeared itself from iTunes a day after it is released.
Thanks to xforewarnedx and Jonk over at the mighty HU for the heads up.
It appears that it is still available over at AMAZON, for US customers only...
That is all.
Very odd. Hopefully this gets sorted out; doesn't seem like it could be intentional. Like some sort of mistake was made with the release.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely something gone wrong somewhere. It's going to be removed from amazon as well shortly... hmm
ReplyDeletePart of me thinks that the CD is going to be re-released to add new tracks to it.

That would be cool...
ReplyDeleteoh wow, weird. glad i got this hopefully snippet of six tracks then to tide me over until whatever else comes down the pipeline.
ReplyDeleteIt's almost like they accidentally released it before schedule...if that's possible. It was slated for mid-October, though...

ReplyDeleteSorry Nachos...
ReplyDeleteI'm all for sharing the goodness of THIS with the world... but without getting in to an ethical debate - i'd just rather you didn't share it here, streaming or not...
I'm sure you understand. Cheers.
perfectly fine, no worries.
ReplyDeleteI think they took it down from Amazon too now.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I got to purchase 'Great Civilizations' from AmazonMP3 while I had the chance! THIS is good music!
ReplyDeleteMy guess is that there is something wrong witht he mix (the first track just doesn't sound completely right - not bad, just different) and that they want to get the sound on all tracks more similar. But it may be as simple as the website thing too, getting it done and so on. Just make it a more complete thing before they (re)-release it.
ReplyDeleteI really like the six songs, and I look forward to more, but my hope is that the Complex is making music again now too - it just has more power and speed. THIS is on the verge of being too soft. :-)
I can't find THIS for purchase anywhere. :(
